Privacy Policy and Terms of Use

Your privacy is important to Therapy Works Together. This page explains how information may be collected and used when you visit the website, request contact, or receive services.

Privacy Policy

We ask for personal information only when it is reasonably needed to respond to inquiries or provide services. Information submitted through the website is provided with your knowledge and consent.

Third-party services may be used for functions such as scheduling, payment processing, video sessions, analytics, or email. Those services maintain their own privacy policies and security practices.

Where applicable, clinicians providing healthcare services follow relevant privacy and confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA and professional licensing rules.

Data security

Reasonable commercial and technical measures are used to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, misuse, or modification of information. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Terms of Use

Information on this website is for general educational purposes and is not a substitute for individualized professional evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. Recommendations provided during therapy are based on the clinician’s professional judgment and the information available at that time.

Consent for Teletherapy

Teletherapy uses audio, video, and other communication technologies to provide assessment, consultation, treatment, follow-up, or education when appropriate. Technical problems may occasionally delay or interrupt a session, and no technology can eliminate all privacy risks.

By participating in teletherapy, clients acknowledge that the expected benefits and limitations have been discussed and that treatment outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Confidentiality exceptions

Information may be disclosed when required by law, including valid court orders, mandated reporting obligations, or situations involving a serious threat to health or safety.

Age and geographic eligibility

Adults using the site or arranging services for a child are responsible for providing accurate information and for having legal authority to consent. Clinical services are offered only where the treating clinician is authorized to practice and where telepractice is legally permitted.

Billing and cancellation

Any fees, session length, billing procedures, cancellation requirements, or payment policies will be communicated directly before services are provided. Current terms given to the client at the time of service control if they differ from older website materials.
